I just started learning VB in school as well. Yea I know, hard to believe that there are classed for it! Eventually VB will be replaced with NET, but if you know VBasic, you probably will understand NET.

I've made a couple of programs myself in Visual Basic (one of them I just posted in a new topic). I really like the language, it was, as said in previous posts, very simple to learn. Not only that, I enjoyed coding in it.

Visual Basic is seriously easy to learn, but yes - it requires a little of patient, you cannot be a professional in anything within the first try, to be honest.

So far, I only have 4 months of experience with Visual Basic, but I had the ability to create a simple web browser - I used to use it for proxy, etc.  But I deleted it off my computer when I formatted my PC.
