SMF For Free Mobile
« on: April 28, 2009, 06:13:23 pm »
Well right now i am on my phone and all i can see and the boards, and no images at all. cant view tabs, or see the stylesheet at all. All i see are the boards, and some options at the very bottom of the page with the options to view my PM inbox, view new replies, and view new posts.  So my suggestion to SMF is that people with mobile devices can view SMF For Free websites and be able to view them like anyone on a computer normally can.

Some phones you can see it normally. For example, I believe this is one of the features on the iPhone and iPod touch.

A problem with viewing sites on a mobile browser is that many of them are different from each other. To be totally honest, if you look at many sites using the browser on your mobile phone you are likely to see some of the same problems. Making an application to use an SMF Forum normally on a phone would probably be tough, and probably be done by some coders at the regular SMF website.  ;)
Not saying however, that SMFForFree couldn't/wouldn't do it. :)

Andrew- What kind of device are you using. Once again, it could all depend on what their browser displays... I get the same problem on my LG Rumor... It does not have the ability to display certain graphics.
