Subject window for replies

I'm kind of a newbie, and maybe this already exists, but anyway: As an administrator, I would like to be able to disable the Subject window for replies to posts and the ability to have a different default text for that window, like “Reply.”

After a few replies, quoting the original subject of the thread makes a forum look a little too busy.

Thinking about it somewhat further, it would be helpful to be able to change the default text for that window or have no text at all. It would greatly cut down on redundancy.
