As far as Meebo goes you can use the Meebo Bar on your forum.
Sign up for an account with them then sign up for a Meebo Bar.
Its going to ask you to  choose the option that best describes your site.
Choose:  I host my own blog / site or use a different blog platform
The next page gives you 2 codes.
Put the first code in the bottom of your Footer
Put the second code at the bottom of your header
Save your headers/footers

You can change whats on the Meebo bar via their site.

I stuck it on my test forum.  Its at the very bottom.
