Links Suggestion

I have been a member here since we first started Rejects almost two years ago and I use this support site about once a month.  I find a spend a LOT of time searching for various topics; topics in which I continually visit to find the information I need.  I suppose I could bookmark the particular threads I use, however, I know I'm not alone here and it would be sooooo much easier if on the main page of this forum there were links to the threads most often visited (Like the stylesheets threads or code indexes, FAQ, etc.) by the members to better enable us to find what we're looking for without doing a search.

Does this make sense?   :uglystupid2:  I don't make much sense after 5:00 p.m.  :uglystupid2:

I think it would be good to have the links to the following on the Main Board someplace obvious as they are all hidden inside boards:

SMF for Free Forum Rules
Advertisement Board Rules
SMF for Free - Terms of Use

Tips For Using The Support Forum
General Support FAQ
Guides & Tutorials Index

Possibly the following too:

Codes Index
Stylesheet Index

I'm sure he could come up with a way to post them prominately on the forum -  possibly even use EzPortal with a left or right side block to do so.   Could move the Ads to the block as well and clean the forum up abit.    Even add the Donate Button -   Most people arent aware those links exist and I think it would be a HUGE help here.

YES!  THAT'S IT!  That would be so awesome!  And I just realized there is a FAQ page.  Sorry.   :uglystupid2:  It was after 5:00 and like I said.. after five, me no make much sense. 

But yes, Sibyl.. That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about!

LOL that does kinda show how hidden it is.
The Frequently Asked Questions (General Support FAQ) page is stickied to the top of the General Support Board.
I do think it should be more visible=on the main page.
Should edit that thing some more.. will look through it later on today.

If any of those links are to be on the main page that one is up to SMF ;)
I can edit the FAQ however, add to it, etc.    Will think over if there is anything else that should be added to it.

I think that this is a rocking idea! It would really help for new people who don't know how to use the support forums or how they should go about doing certian things here!  :)

I think so too.    Those links are all buried in boards and not that obvious to new people here.
It would be a HUGE help.

Oh, I have been searching for an answer to that problem for awhile. I searched to find that someone else had the exact same thought! Yeah. The search bar (Which happens to be at the top of the forum and COULD pop out a little bit more on a homepage to people looking for a solution) comes in handy sometimes!
