If you look here:

http://forum.sa-mp.com/showthread.php?t=161454

This forum is using VBulliten, and I thought it would be very nice if
SMF had the feature. The feature is, see the poster, Carlton?
See how is says "Banned" and has this image: ""?
I think a lot of people would like this and it's nice to users so they can simply see if someone is banned.

// Thanks for taking your time

Doesn't have to be exactly same, but something similar would be epic, downright epic :D

You can make a Membergroup, naming it "Banned", give the group no permissions if you wish, and place users there manually. You can also use your own "rank image" as well - to display that picture (Or any you find or create).

These two guides should help:

How To Use Your Own Rank Images

The fate is absuotley right... the best way to do that is to make a seperate group and if you like that specific icon then just use the url and there you go.

Maybe if someone is banned, their name has a line through it in posts, the name is colored black, and their avatar and signature are removed until the ban is lifted.

Maybe if someone is banned, their name has a line through it in posts, the name is colored black, and their avatar and signature are removed until the ban is lifted.

This can all be done without having the founder of SMF For Free to do this.   You can do this by creating a separate member group, and use a couple scripts in the codes section.    And give zero access (permissions) to the banned member group, and everything shall be fine and working just like you want it to work.

Hakam J.,
