Auto Forum Deleter

Maybe a auto Forum deleter, that deletes forums 3months old without a view or anything, or maybe 6 months, this will be a good idea because if smf opens something like smfforfree5 and every1 goes and floods that their old 1s that havent been used in months get deleted, i think probley 35% or more will be deleted even if he sets it to 3 months.

Thats already there, if you put your forum in Maintenance mode and leave for 3 monthes (I think its that long...) It gets removed or with no posts it gets removed..

I know it deletes, I just don't know how long it takes to be deleted...

Generally, they don't get deleted.

In the Terms of Service we have made it clear that after 3 months of inactivity a forum is up for deletion.
But there's no real use to deleting all of the forums that have been inactive for 3 months. SMF has never bothered to delete the really inactive ones.

In fact, I think my first forum that is over a year old and dead inactive is still alive!

Yep I think so.   The old ones that are sitting there, not being used, do not slow down the server, do not use up bandwidth.   If they did SMF would definitely remove them.     Think of it in this way.   You have literally thousands of files on your hard drive.   You do not USE all of them at once.   Many of them are rarely used at all.
