I don't think helpers should get rewards...

1- There would be ALOT of people being rewarded...( Just shows what a great community there is =)!)

2- A support forum is usually made of helpers and people who need it...So helpers aren't very rare

Yeah but there are very few unsolved/fixed problems around here.

First, this is not your typical forum where people come and visit on a daily basis to hang out, but rather a place that people come to when they have issues they need help with, so the awards that were suggested would be null. 

Secondly, this support site is by far the best there is for SMF.  Sibyl and Crasy are two of the best "helpers" on the net and are a wealth of knowledge.  You would be hard pressed to find their knowledge and expertise anywhere else.

If you have unresolved issues, then there must not be a solution or you don't understand the solution. That being said, I have never had an issue with my forum that Sibyl and/or Crasy could not resolve.  I think they do a fantastic job here. 

Keep in mind that they're volunteering their time.  It's not like they are paid to sit here and answer the same dumb questions, asked 100 different ways by 100 different people.  That takes time and patience.  My hat is off to them.  Remember, as moderators of this forum, their job is not to even resolve your issues, but simply mod this forum. i.e. making sure people remain on topic, etc. They're not official problem solvers for SMF.  We owe them boat loads of gratitude.
