table problem with IE7
« on: March 15, 2007, 05:18:20 pm »
Could someone view my test page for me please with IE7
(It is fine in Firefox, SeaMonkey, Opera, IE6.0)

In IE7 the first category  (General Category)  does not have a table border background.
It does in the other browsers and it is in the .css

This happens ONLY if I put a table in the Header file.
The table is only a simple table with 1 row and 3 columns.  Shouldnt effect the categories at all.
It didnt in 1.07 but I cannot get it to show up right (IE7 Only)  in 1.1.2.
Pulling my hair out here... so if anyone has a suggestion please toss it in here

The url is:   http://madamemmastent.freesmfhosting.com/

the code in the header is below.  If I remove it from the header the problem disappears.

Code: [Select]

<table width="100%" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
<td align="left" valign="bottom">
<a href="#bottom"><img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b284/madamemma1/tobottom.png" border="0" Alt="down" /></a></td>
<td align="center" valign="bottom">
<a href="http://madamemmastent.smfforfree.com/index.php"><img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b284/madamemma1/thetent2.gif"  Alt="Madam Emma's Tent" border="0" /></a></td>
<td align="right" valign="bottom">
<a href="#bottom2"><img src="http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b284/madamemma1/tobottom.png" border="0" Alt="down"  /></a></td></table>
