Your topic colors are currently Black with Red lettering. Are you wanting them to be white with red lettering instead?

That area is called windowbg in your css code. Keep in mind that when changing parts of your css code, it will change more than one area. In this case, changing the "background color" to white will change the topic background color, the area that shows "replies" and "views", and it will also change several other areas on your MAIN forum page as well. The area that surrounds the new post/no new post icons, and the area that shows # of posts/# of topics. It also will change the area that surrounds the icons down at the very bottom of your forum in the info center, as well as the background color of your news fader box. It also will change areas of your admin panel.

Here is a guide yo can use that will help you to determine what areas will change when you change the code:

Your wanting to change the post color background to white? That area of your css code is the same - windowbg

/* Alternating backgrounds for posts, and several other sections of the forum. */
.windowbg
{
   color: #C3690F;
   background-color: #ECEDF3;
}

I thought I mentioned that as well in my above post but I see I didnt..lol sorry. As a reminder, changing that code will also change several other areas of your forum. There is no way to just change the post background color. Sibyl might have a work-around code.

At the moment I cannot think of a work-around for that.  If I can come up with an idea Ill give a shout.

Also.   The alternating posts colors are in windowbg AND windowbg2.

btw so you know this windowbg does not control the background color of the news fader.   That area is the table border background color.

Whenever I change my windowbg color, it changes the background of my news box. Maybe that means my forum is special.  8)

Then there is something else in the stylesheet effecting it.
Honestly.

To test it make a new stylesheet.   As you know you will have the default stylesheet in the css when you do this.
Change ONLY windowbg's background color to "black"

Check the forum.  You will see that the news faders background will be white.
If it is not there is something flaky going on with the forum you are doing it on because windowbg does not cover that area.   You can check the source code as well and will see the class for that area is  tborder.

Austion so as to not confuse you further:  If you are wanting to change the background of the posts that is done by changing the background colors for both windowbg and windowbg2.   Keep in mind, that as Kimmie said earlier that will change alot of other areas on your forum.   If you have a test forum try it there so you can see what areas are changed and get it as you want it.
