The code is working, however it does not subtract when you try too. When setting up the custom profile settings, does it need to be a text, text area or selection box?

Isaiahs Grandma This is how you need to set up the Custom Profile Fields. Do exactly like it says and it will work.

Before you accually add the shop, you need to create a new Profile Feild. So,
1. Go to: Admin >> Features and Options >> Custom Profile Fields.
2. Press Add Field.
3. Now Click on the [Settings] Link.
4. Now Put this information as the Settings:
Name: Subtract
Field Description: The Ammount of money that will be subtracted from this user.
Show in profile?: Check
Show in posts?: Under Post Count
Parse BBC?: UnCheck
Text to display before field (BBC is ok if enabled above): Leave Blank
Text to display After field (BBC is ok if enabled above): Leave Blank
Field ID: SubtractMoney
Add a horizontal rule before field?: Don't Show
Show field on registration?: Don't Show
Only allow admins to edit field?: Check
Only allow admins to view field?: UnCheck
5. Press Save.

Yes I have done all that. It still does not allow you to subtract. It shows in the profile field on the users. However when you subtract it will not allow you. It shows the amount of money the user has accumulated on their profile, however when you go to edit their profile and change the amount it shows their balance of $0 funds. The two pages do not refeclect the same amount of total.

yes do not worry about it thats not a problem thats okay but when you go to the summary page the total amount of money is there

It seems to be kind of working now! It shows different on members who do not have a avatar.

Yep. The Money part that works in the Profile only works on the summary page.

I still cant get the money subtracted from the members!! Also it doesnt show that i have money....i bought something and it gave me $0 and now it says $0 for everyone!! What shall I do??

I got it to work as far as the subtracting part. In the profile area don't put the $ sign
example: if they buy cheese for $10.00

in the profile just put 10
then edit profile.
I did find that if you put a 0 there first and hit edit, then try again with the 10 it worked.

My Problem is that no matter what they buy, the pm
it sends will look like this:

I want to Buy: Hot Tub « Sent to: Isaiahs Grandma on: Today at 05:43:47 pm »

I have a question for support!
On the shop code it is woring for all my members except for two of them. All members have the same size
avatars roughly speaking, and forum profile settings the same. Same mebership ladder postion, however
this is how the shop shows up for my member named Dewmik. Compare his and Fordwomans. Dewmiks
shows no post $. Any ideas as to what is causing this? I even tried adding things he bought & still no post$

I got it working now!
If anyone has the problem of it only showing on some
members and not all of them, I found it you give them a few extra post count
it will show up, then you can come back and remove the extra
and it will still show, kind of like tricking it a little!
