Need help installing JDK6u16

I am making a game and I need jdk6u16 to compile it.  At end of the thing I get this pop up saying C:\Documents and settings\Erik\Local settings\ Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\H3H7BV9W\jdk-6u16-windows=x64[1].exe is not a vailid Win32 application


how to I fix it so it can install?

Java Develoment Kit 1.6_16

You might want to try going to Sun Microsystems and see if anyone else has had your problem and if there is a fix for it.
