Hi Again..

I put a music player from Playlist in my forum .. created a board for it .. and all looked good .. clicked on a tune and it started to play and I said "wow ..I didn't screw it up!" .. but then I went into thread .. and the music stopped .. Is there anyway or anything I can do to make the music keep playing even when I click on another place in my forum ..Now it only plays if you stay on main page and don't click on anything else .. I deleted the player for now .. I will wait for an answer before I put it back in .. I don't want my members to KNOW I am dumb!  LOL

Hi ..

I don't know how to tell people ..how to properly post a pic and keep it in the gallery and not show on front page .. everything I try to do to help them the pic not only shows on front page BUT on log in page .. I don't understand what I am doing wrong .. Can anyone give me the steps to post in gallery and keep pics in gallery so they do not show anywhere else but there ?? I am sort of dumb when it comes to that stuff !  ;)

Well when I asked if they did complete system maintainence .. they told me yes because they thought defragging was what I meant .. so a scan disc was not done in quite a long time ..when I found thatout .. I told them to run a clean disc.. a thorough scan disc and then defrag ..  which they did .. the scan disc ran until 2:30 am .. and when they got up for work they defragged .. and then they were able to get in the forum ..

The problem is now solved and they are up and running ..

Yes they can get on any other site .. yahoo ..msn ..mail and messenger the only site they cannot access is mine ..I even had them go to google and click on the url there .. same thing .."this page cannot be displayed".. and myself and all the other members have no probs ..  this is a husband and wife team .. and they have seperate puters but same server .. and they can't get in under either computer .. Why just my site I wonder .. and they can go any other place on the net ??

I tried a trace route on my puter and it worked .. but on their putter does not

Hi Sibyl..
The forum they are referring to is mine .. I tried to help them .. and they have deleted cookies .. temp files and history .. and that makes no difference .. everyone else can get in but them .. they each have their own computer .. and they can access all the other sites they have on their puters .. but when they go to my url .. it says "this page cannot be displayed" ..  He is my asst admin and she is one of my globals .. Do you have any other suggestions that might help?

Also.. I hate to do unless al else fails ..BUT if I delete their accounts and they register again .. will that help?? I would only do that as last resort as it would bring them back to newbies .. so if there is anything else that you could think of I would deeply appreciate it .. Thanx !

Can anyone tell me where I would the place in the css files to change the color of the headers above the threads on main page .. I mean like that thin strip .. which here says SMF 4 free..on the front page.. ..above all the threads in that catergory.. I may be calling it by the wrong name .. I am so illiterate & lost ..
