Recently there's been an unusual volume of new members joining my forum with typical spammer IDs but with yahoo and gmail addresses.  I haven't activated their a/cs becoz I don't feel comfortable giving them the benefit of the doubt.  I'm not sure if captcha is enabled at my forum.  I'm trying to locate it at the Admin panel but I'm gettin a bit confused.  Can anyone please give me some guidelines?

Hi folks!  I suddenly encountered this strange problem.  The custom skin I installed in my forum is replaced by default skin.  And I'm not being able to re-install the custom skin.  I hope my forum hasn't been hacked or something .....  ???  Can anyone please let me know what's happened and how I can fix it ....  please.

I tried to ban a troublemaker with IP address.  But IP address was showing error, don't know why.  Then I put the ban with hostname.  It apparently worked.  I just wanna know if banning with hostname is as effective as IP address.  In the past I've always used IP address for this purpose.

I'm trying to put my FB badge in a post by copying & pasting the html tag given by FB but it isn't working.  Would anyone know what might have gone wrong?

Are images for the Gallery only to be uploaded from the computer or can they also be loaded thru direct url of the image site?  I can't find the option for the latter so I thought I'd ask.

General Support / Music - Playlist [Solved]

I made a trial forum for trying out the playlist.  It came quite good.  The only problem seems to be that there's no way of turning off the music permanently, in case some members prefer not to listen to it.  By clicking the small button on the extreme left, the music does stop.  But starts again as soon as you go to a different board or page of the forum.  Is there any way of resolving this?

In Admin panel under Manage Styles, there's this "style your forum" button.  Can anyone pls give me an idea as to what this is?  Apparently one needs to create a new a/c for it ..

Hi all!  Since the last half hour or so I've been trying to visit my forum but getting the white page with the message 'page cannot be displayed.'  This has happened in the past but not for so long, only for few minutes.  Would anyone know what the problem might be?

A friend of mine was telling me that the site http://www.netfirms.com/domain-names/   is offering / registering domain names staring with www. and this is supposed to redirect visitors thru that link to your forum.  They also say that there's no need to change the hosting of the current forum nor move any files.  The domain-registration would simply allow easier access to the forum by redirecting visitors to the current forum location.  Frankly, I don't trust such offers.  Just for my information, I thought I'd ask for your comments on this.

Hi all  :)  I wonder if this is happening with everyone.  The front page of my forum appears to be moving up and down a little bit .. or should I say, flickering periodically and swiftly as would happen when one clicks on a button to go to another window.  It's not a big issue that's bothering me, but I just thought I'd ask as a member of my forum pointed it out too.

There's an option for 'board description inside the board' in Profile.  I've enabled it but I suppose this is only visible to me.  Is there a way of enabling this option for everyone through the Admin CP section?  I looked for it there but couldn't find it.

Hi everyone!  :)

I wonder if this can be done.  Is it possible to remove a few posts from a thread and put it as a separate new thread?  Some members drift off topic and the subject title has nothing to do with many of the tailend posts .  I consider it might seem better and more convenient for readers to remove off-topic posts into a new thread.

Hi to all my friends at SMF  :)

I was happy to receive today the announcement that Quick Reply button has been added to all forums.  But I cannot see it anywhere after clicking on a certain post.  Or do I first need to activate that option.  I looked under Features & Options but couldn't find it.  Can anyone please advise.
