Seriously? Why have this argument. GIMP is not for noobs, I have seen a lot of good things come out of it. It is a free alternative and is a smart choice if you aren't going to be using it for a job or business. It all depends on how you use it. By calling people noobs for using GIMP is provoking arguments. Lemme show you something...
This is TLGY's work, amazing artist and person when you get to know him...CREDITS TO TLGY! Also a couple of these are used by custom shapes by him.

Honestly, those I think those tags done in GIMP are a lot better than yours which are done in PS.
Now for some PS sigs...

Just look there.
They are just PROGRAMS and should not cause arguements. It depends on how well you work the program and know what you are doing. The both have pros and cons.
BTW, I am a PS fan/user and I support GIMP
