Same here on loading issues. shooterforums.com
Any idea how long, and is it possible to implement some sort of notification to owners that this is going to happen in advance.

Nothing like getting hammered with questions from members I can't answer, and have to scramble to see what's going on..

Thank you Sibyl, sorry I missed some posts. I got in a hurry between here and there trying to keep up.  :D :D
Having 2 other issues involved here kinda didn't help here either, but no worries, hope they all get worked out.  :) :)

I'll keep an eye out, though it may be tomorrow before I check back. Only a couple hours sleep last night had me expecting a nice rest tonight beginning about 2 hours ago.  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for the help Sibyl.

OK:
The original new post:
Testing

Do not reply if you see this as it will be removed after testing.

The info displayed using "modify".
Testing

Do not reply if you see this as it will be removed after testing.

Except for the Caps front and lower case on the back end, I don't see a problem, as the tags are normally resolved by the software requirements.

But...............................If I highlight the above link and try to open it in a new tab, I get an error. Might be a Pbucket issue? I'm not sure who my different members use for hosting, but Pbucket is for sure an issue at the moment.

ercnan do me a favor.  Create a post and post and image using the img tags.   Save it.
Then modify the post and see if it is putting a width and height there -  if so post exactly what it is putting.
Will do, stand by.

I just checked my test forum and a link I have in the news suddenly now has double http:// on it too.  Gonna send SMF a note about this.
Thanks, I just linked another Pbucket image to a new post (my pbucket bandwidth is not exceeded), and Preview shows nothing as far as image goes, only the text link. Submission shows a post by me with an "empty slate" if you will.

I viewed recent posts on your forum.   The ones that are redx's show the urls start like this:
http://http//

For some reason there is an xtra http:// for them
Are you shure they are posting them correctly?
I know I do, I use Pbucket IMG code copy and paste versus the IMG tags on the board, but I'll try a test just to see.
To answer your Q, Yes I think they do it correctly, as they have done before with no issues. No images are being displayed now, recent or past, and I know they were posted (linked) correctly before, as they showed correctly based on the link submission (IMG, THUMB, DIRECT, etc.

Sorry sibyl, shooterforums.com

No images are being displayed from any user. I have exceeded my Pbucket limit before, but will get a message on the linked image to that effect.
In this case, no images are being display, error "bandwidth exceed", or otherwise.

My members are hammering me with questions as to why all the sudden, linked Photobucket Images, using the thumbnail code, IMG code, etc., no longer work.

Add another server 3 board to the list. I'm getting timeout errors as well. when it does happen to load, it taks a very long time to finish.

SMF For Free Codes and Support / Re: [Code] Profile Music
« on: August 30, 2009, 03:56:56 pm »
Thought I'd chime in here. I didn't see it in the previous posts, but this code will work with FF and IE. The thing is, for you to hear it, you have to view your profile from the members page, or clicking your name link on the board somewhere, not the "Profile" tab. That tab assumes you as you and does not append with the member ID.
Also, I had to install Quicktime to make it function. No worries for me, but without QT I got a plugin error.

Works a treat here, thanks Moose.

Thank you. I'll just wait then for awhile and see if the bug gets resolved. Hate to redo the homepage for this small issue at this point anyway really.  :)

Yes, I'm using EzPortal. Would using the legacy portal be a benefit?
