(The goblin too wished to express his gratitude, saying "...I love my secluded forum, I have four or five thousand posts there by now, so it would have been a big loss to me had I lost them suddenly...")

"...pleased to meet you both then..." went the goblin now, adding "...me, I do whatever, whenever, and wherever too, but post as I may, and however many times too for that matter, forumland always just seems endless, where the only constant here is this post by post journey to self then, for simply one becomes ones posts and oneself is reflected back by it, where perhaps "I think therefore I am" is replaced by "I post therefore I am reflected" here..."

"...well, usual stuff there was this light in the sky..." replied the goblin trying to remember now, adding "...and then, after being whisked up inside, there were this bunch of aliens giving SMF forums some to sales pitch for humanity's sake as the last hope against mindless facebook now, and of course I didn't believe a word of it, knowing that those on facebook became illiterate, yes, but those on SMF mostly went mad now, leaving the only question of which was better then...", but that, like his sanity after all these posts seemed long ago now

the goblin showed, explaining "...the real problem is finding a busy forum, in that most members like to be with other members, and yet, how is anyone ever going to know where those forums with many members are where most forums owners don't like one asking that question, simply it's easy to find SMF startup forums, and very hard to find their established ones now...", in fact, the goblin thought that as half the problem, the other half being the poster's lack of incentive to post, the goblin explained that too, saying "...in my view, most people mean well and post for other people's sake, or for the forum itself, which we know is unsustainable in the end because it's just charity posting so to speak, whereas they should be posting for themselves, totally selfish because those type posters are the ones that are both unstoppable and improve over time with practice..." continuing "...conversely, another problem is too many forums for too few members, in that everyone seems to want to be admin now, they wait for other to turn up, and then everyone waits for others to turn up, so everywhere goes quiet..."

"...thank you for having accepting me on your football forum, even for the short while you did..." replied the goblin cordially at this point, continuing "...it is only that I now see the error of my ways, and agree entirely with the comments posted both before and when the thread got locked by you, fortunately the other admins that PMed me to join their sites, have neither locked the thread, nor addressed my posts as spam, so your "last post" thread is now spamless in my view, nothing personal then, it just didn't work out here, that's all, and the loss of a few spam posts on your site makes no difference, so my search continues elsewhere then, as does yours I imagine..." in fact, the goblin still held the site in the highest respect
