The Deed is completed, hope you enjoy your images!

(I put all your images in a .RAR file so it'll be easier to send them)

P.S. not sure if you know or not you'll need WinRAR to extract.

Okay, so I've noticed that EzPortal has its own tab now under the admin control panel. I always thought it was under the configuration tab, labeled as something like "Legacy Portal Editor" again, not sure if that is correct. What I am trying to get at is now my forum is messed up. I've had it enabled before, I remember noticing that is wasn't up-to-date with it's current version and now it is. Now when I re-enable the it removes my other "Home" like completely erases the page, leaving where the portal should be blank. Something else I've noticed is that the in the navigation of the forums I now have TWO "Forum" tabs which I know for a fact is not correct. Now when I disable the "Enable Portal Hompage" box back at the admin panel. It all goes back to normal. Any suggestions on fixing this?

Removed the second forum tab.

Thanks, SMF For Free! Appreciate it.

That's fantastic.....thank you.

Can you change the green hue to a blue hue?
If you're talking about the glow around the "Admin" its light blue, not green.

no, I pretty much like all of it, and, if possible, just change that green color to a blue, but only if that's reasonably possible.  I like the font and everything else bout the graphic tho.

I think I can try to make something. In my opinion I'm not sure if it's correct but the font used in that picture looks like the "Halo Outline" font.

Well you would usually go to Admin CP > Legacy Portal and disable legacy....

but it looks like that's been removed...... So we'll have to wait for SMF on this one...

Yeah, but I wasn't sure if it was "Legacy Portal" or just "Portal Configuration" my mind is a bit fuzzy on that.

Windows 7 is a browser, Vista is an operating system.

I had no idea Windows 7 was a browser, I see many similar qualities to Windows Vista but there are new features for it.. A couple of default programs I've noticed that they changed to it were "Microsoft Paint" and "Wordpad" just the appearance of it though.

You'ld do the BBCode for the image first - then the BBCode for the url

Text to display before field (BBC is ok if enabled above)
Code: [Select]
[IMG]http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/images/crests/Xbox360.gif[/IMG][URL=http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/profile.aspx?GamerTag=

Text to display after field (BBC is ok if enabled above)
Code: [Select]
][/URL]

I see how that would work, but it would only display the link, I want there to be the link and the Text also, like a "Two for one" kind of thing. The input field would fill in the URL and also display the name that they have entered, is that possible?

he said that he did that on purpose in his post...

I wasnt commenting on the spaces, if you look at the code on the original post, for the sections that i posted, the tags are incorrect even is the spaces were not there.

"text to display after"

starts    "]

and ends [/url]

I'm assuming that he wants one part to be a url and one to be an image.

Originally I planned on there being the Xbox 360 logo linking to a Xbox.com profile, so It would be like, http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/profile.aspx?GamerTag=KrylonKrystals if you know what I mean, and sibyl I'll be sure to give it a try, working on it now ;)

EDIT: It works, guess I didn't need to quotations around the URL after all, now I'll just save the image to my Photobucket or something.

Just one more question, is there one way so I can have it like this:
KrylonKrystals

instead of it just linking the image?

General Support / Custom Profile Fields?

I've been trying to work around "Custom Profile Fields" on the SMF forums and well quite frankly I cannot get them to work. I've been trying to get it to link with my (or anyone else Xbox Live GamerTag) but it doesn't work. I've added these settings and it only appears in the profiles and not in Posts
Quote
Name               GamerTag
Field Description      Users GamerTag for the Xbox 360.
   Show in profile?      (Checked)
Show in posts?      (Show Next to images)
   Parse BBC?              (Checked)
Text to display before field (BBC is ok if enabled above)
        [ URL="http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/profile.aspx?GamerTag=
Text to display after field (BBC is ok if enabled above)
        "][IMG ]http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/images/crests/Xbox360.gif[ /IMG][ /URL]
   Field ID    ConsoleGamertag
Add a horizontal rule before field?      (Don't Show)
Show field on registration?              (Optional Input)
Only allow admins to edit field?      (Not Checked)
Only allow admins to view field?      (Not Checked)

 - (Spaced out IMG and URL tags to prevent them from linking in post)
 - Image size is 15 x 15px

(NOTE: This only shows in the "Profile" part of the website and when I hover over it, it displays the link as "http:///" in the status bar)

Therefore I am clearly not an expert with this and can use some assistance, Please and Thanks, Mystickid2k6
