our forum is down again---the error message says "no input file specified".  I also noticed that the smfpro support forum has the "Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later." error, so maybe the two are connected?  I've never gotten the "no input file specified" error before though, so that's a little weird.

it came back up a bit ago--it was down a lot longer today than yesterday. wonder what's causing it?

getting that "service unavailable" message again. I'm guessing it must be a server issue since all the pro forums and the smf pro support forum are affected the same way? is there anyway to find out what's causing it?

that's weird... I've gotten lots of error messages before, but that was the first time I saw the "service unavailable" one.

having problems with the server again.  it goes down for a long time and I get a "network connection lost" error.  Then it will come back up again for a few minutes and then go down again.  I tried to connect to the pro forums support forum and I'm having the same problem with the server.

The login box seems to be gone now, thanks.  We're still having a problem with vanished spell checker which worked fine before the server crash.   Found this in admin panel :

"Enable spell checking. You MUST have the pspell library installed on your server and your PHP configuration set up to use the pspell library. Your server DOES NOT appear to have this set up."

And members and staff alike are still not receiving any forum notifications like PMs, subscribed topics etc., even though all settings are correct on the forum.  I'd appreciate it if you could check into this please...everything was working fine before the server went down.

Thanks!   :smitten:

we're having the same problem with that login box popping up randomly on the forum... it's happening to both staff and members.

I had that same error as well, but our forum default theme is not the smf default theme, so once I set it back to our normal default theme, the message went away.  perhaps that's the issue with yours as well?  It was running slow until I changed the default and now it seems to be okay.
