My site has been loading pretty slow on and off for maybe 5 days now.  Just wondering if any backups are being run or if it is on my end?  All other sites on my PC are lightning fast.

General Support / Slow Loading and chat freezing

This has been going on for two or more days.  My forums frequently are loading very slow again and sometimes times out.  The chat is also freezing and then spit out a few posts to then freeze again.  Any idea what is going on? :-\

Since last night on and off my site is not fully loading and the tabs, reply options etc will be missing.  Is this due to Maintenance or is something going on?

I have done this MANY times and know it has to be something simple.  When I try to add a new smiley this is what I get:

An Error Has Occurred!
The following smiley directories are not writable: default

Just an FYI.  When posting more than 3 pics the spam check comes on and asks you to type in the letters.  Problem is the letters to type in do no appear for anyone to do so.

The chat has been booting my members off quite frequently and has been going on for a while.  I know the chat was integrated but was just wondering if anything could be done?

General Support / Posting takes an eternity

For the last 3 days or so we have been having issues when posting.  Much of the time it takes an eternity to load and also many time will go to a blank page saying to reload.  Sometimes this works, sometimes not.  It is not just me.  Other PC's and browsers also have this issue.  Is there back ups running or anything else that is going on?

Is anything going on?  Every page takes forever to load and 40% of the time whites out.

Don't know if this is just a small/temporary glitch but just thought I would give a heads up in case it's long term.  My site for the last hour has been very slow and half the time the page goes to "the connection was reset".

General Support / Some members are having issues with my Forum

I have been notified that a few members can't logon.  A few that can can't post, reply etc.  Here is what one told me today: "the page is grey, none of the tan is there. There is no reply box and no post button...the picture on the top is missing and there are no smilies or anything".  This is the exact thing that was happening to me when all the forums here were messed up a few days ago.  I have also noticed a few regular members have not been on for a few days also.  Anyone know what this issue is?  What I can do or what can be done?  It is fine on my end but a few are experiencing what we were a few days ago.  HELP!!
