Suggestions / Profile showing boards you subscribe to

I do not know if this has been suggested before, but is there anyway to have your profile list groups or boards you belong to? Would be easier then having to go to each individual board, if you could do a single log in and be able to access all your boards, pretty please?

Groups been in a bit of a flux. Slow starting to say the least, I had thought maybe people would like another particular option, and embarrassed to say had opend another place, which I had originally migrated group to before, but do like SMF here better, and people not going there anyway...

Noticed other week that our group now has 2 "forum" tabs both leading to the same boards, was wondering if I could somehow delete one, but do not know how to do so. Been looking under administration but?

Have not been looking here in a while due to work and home issues so trying to find my way around.

Trying to tweak a whole bunch of things. One by one of course... :2funny: is there any way to create the metatags so they are hidden or at least on the bottom of the page rather then on the top, above our banner?

I know theres an option of a gallery that is very limited, via attachment which also is limiting as pics need to be small, and via photobucket or other hosting sites links which I seem to find is the easiest way.

Issue with PB is limited on bandwidth space per month...
For example one of our hosts posted

Not sure which way they are trying to add pics,but are we missing anything? If we add pics by attachment does that go toward the limited space in the gallery?

On Webpage editor made 2 pages
a home page, http://animalchatters.smfforfree3.com/pages/animalchatters/home.php and a page that will eventually link to our rainbow bridge album

How do I
1. tweak coding so when people click home it leads to the first home link?

2. get secondary pages to show on the primary page...

as always MUCH appreciation, at least I figured how to insert backgrounds pictures and links

General Support / People having trouble getting to the site when I email link

We need to gradually get people over now, and I sent out batches of invites, I think to about 60 members or so, that I have their email. Some are emailing that they tried but can not get page to load...

I was able to manually add them as members but my question is why does the  http://animalchatters.smfforfree3.com/
link not work for some, and worked ok for others?  do I need to send emails for  http://animalchatters.smfforfree.com/ ?

Red and Fang will probably want to start a board of their own for the other side of our group.

Stylesheet Requests and Support / Stylesheets making page pathways difficult to see

Love having the Halloween stylesheet but one of our moderators pointed out it makes the page links hard to see.

Like above the area where I am posting here it shows the thread of where I currently am...

with the background you can not see those links of navigation. Is there anyway to make the navagation links on a solid background?

General Support / I am basically JUST starting question on downloads and gallery?

I guess kind of fell into the right place for making a forum here, with MSN announcing they were closing groups... I had been looking around for a backup forum and now here I am. My question is I noticed announcements for downloads when I was trying to start the forum and then things all fell in place. Then as I am showing others how to find how to start a forum, I am having a devil of a problem trying to find the link to start a basic forum,  :idiot2: I keep coming to this page http://www.simplemachines.org/ which makes me wonder what there is to download, do I need to download etc :uglystupid2: When I am tired from work isnt the best time to pose these questions but... know will have more when it comes to making a web page for our home as it is so different from msn.

Do I need to download anything? I am trying to muddle through css coding which is greek to me so to speak,but want to make sure I am starting on the right foot. What are Gallerys? We are in the process of uploading pictures to our new photobucket albums, for hosts and in general, would love if we could have our Rainbow Bridge album within our forum. Rainbow bridge is an idea of where your family pets go when they die, to wait for when you join them. the album would be to let members save pics of their kitties pups birds and whatever in memory. On msn we also had an album for members we lost some too early, whom were sick, the concept is important to our group and hope I can get some good answers as to what the gallery is, and how to use it for signitures.

HTML / How do I change the speed for a marquee?

I have a marquee I use for my signiture in my board, but would like to change the speed.
I have tried <MARQUEE scrolldelay=170 >your sig here</MARQUEE> but it just shows the code and does not slow it down

I now have xmas up would like a more general snowflakes hold the ornaments look. I do not have a clue on setting up the coding I have read in searches.
Is there a way to set up a chat room accessible just by hosts? if not we can always just keep using IM's.
I thought portals would set up chat, Not sure what portals are, is there a place to start basics?
