General Support / Forum not loading

Hi SMF.   This problem started suddenly this evening.  Getting the white screen saying "connection was reset" and sometimes even if it does load, it doesn't respond.    Please check and help SMF. 

I am able to access all other websites in my computer.

Hi SMF.  I am trying to post an event on the calendar without linking it to any posts on the boards.  But it's not showing up.  Is the option available to post directly on the calendar without a link to a post ?

Hi SMF.   Can you please give a link of any tutorial for the Gallery as I'm not too sure on how to use some features? 

Also, is there any maximum limit on the number of images loaded in each cateogry?

Hi SMF.   Can you give me any SMF link on tutorial on how to select moderator?   I did successfully select a moderator a while ago, now I need another moderator but I've forgotten the steps.  SMF guidelines would be helpful.    Sorry for the trouble.

General Support / Occasional login problem

Hi SMF !   Observing since today, while logging-in getting the white page with notification "service unavailable" (screenshot below).  Sometimes it works, but sometimes need to try 3 or 4 times to be able to login.   Also after logging-in, while browsing through different boards, keep getting that white page now and again.  Would appreciate very much if you can please check at your end if there's a glitch somewhere.   Thanks ....

General Support / Username change

Hi SMF.   I made a change in my username and I was asked to reset my password.  SMF sent me a new password via automated message mentioning I can change the password later.  But when I changed it, I still cannot login with it.  I can only login with the one sent by SMF.  Can you please advise how I can choose my own password. 

I am attaching a screenshot of the admin page.   I entered my new chosen password in the 'choose password' and 'verify password' boxes. And then in the 'current password box' do I enter the password sent by SMF ?

While putting up new posts getting notification "hacking attempt.'    When I click the 'back' button and try again, getting the notification "you already submitted this post .."     Screenshots attached.

Is there any technical issues at SMF?   Please help.

My forum is only uploading personalized images for profiles.  But profile images with direct links aren't uploading even after clicking on 'change profile' button.  It used to until recently.   Please help.

Members wanting to register are saying they're constantly getting the error message "The letters you typed don't match the letters that were shown in the picture. "   Any suggestions please on how to resolve or lessen this captcha verification problem so approved members can start registering?
