General Support / Will I lose data?

I know this is a long way off and may never happen but I'm just wondering.

If my forum ever gets really large and I decide to host for myself, will I be able to move my forum to my own host without out losing all my data such as posts and members and stuff? Or will I have to start from scratch?

This probably will never happen because I don't even know how to host a site =/ but I was just wondering.

When people buy things from my shop... such as a teddy bear... how do I actually give it to them on the forum? Like I remember seeing this one forum where you could buy friends gifts and it woul show up on their profile when they post. It was like a little icon of a teddy or little icon of a box of candies... is there a way to do that? If not what are some good ideas to use my shop for?

Sorry if I'm asking too much, I'm just like so excited and want to make my forum fun.

General Support / One last question for today.

When I create a new membergroup (for VIP members) I always choose to base permissions off of regular members, but when I assign people as VIP they can't play in the arcade even though there permissions say they can. I even changed it so that post count doesn't matter to play in the arcade.

Is there a way to fix this?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'd just like to know.

How do I install modifications? Like I found this one that will add reputation to the post profile for users. And one that enables members to choose their mood and another to install a shoutbox.

Can someone tell me how I go about getting these things installed?
