General Support / Unable to Move Posts
« on: January 15, 2024, 02:02:56 pm »
For whatever reason, I'm unable to move posts between boards anymore as I have for many many years. When I try using multiple browsers, I get a white page with this error message. Thank you so much for your assistance in advance.

General Support / Shoutbox Vanished
« on: May 20, 2017, 01:43:50 pm »
Longtime customer here, and kudos to everyone who helps keep everything running as smoothly as they do. On my forums, the shoutbox is gone no matter if I click the open or minimize button. I'd appreciate getting that resolved, thank you.

General Support / Misaligned Boards
« on: February 09, 2016, 04:06:01 pm »
I've been getting reports and screen caps from some of my users that the boards are out of order from what they were before. It's not the case for some, but is for others. Is this due to the server switch? And is there anything they can do, or just give it a little while to synchronize? We're on the freesmfhosting domain.

As always, I appreciate the time and effort put into keeping it all running. Thank you.

General Support / Ad Credits Being Devoured

My ad free credits are being devoured by what I assume to be copious bots. My boards registered almost 400 guests at any one time, and I don't have anywhere near that level of traffic normally. Is there anything we can do to make it ad free for members and not guests? Otherwise I'm going to be refilling ad credits way more than I should need to do.

I appreciate the transition to a new server. However, I am still experiencing difficulties as my users and I either have times where we can not connect to the board for timeout or we get 503 errors. I appreciate greatly any assistance with this issue, and am very appreciative of the overall stability I have enjoyed since creating forums here. Thank you humbly in advance.

General Support / Formatting Go Bye Bye

Forum Url:
For some reason since yesterday, some of the users on my forum are complaining that their posts after being previewed or just posted appear as a wall of words. The formatting and the spacing of paragraphs is gone, and has to be cut and pasted in a second time. I haven't changed my boards formatting at all, and was wondering if this is a fixable issue because it's certainly an inconvenience.

I thank you in advance for your time

Hello there, i want to firstly thank SMF for Free whom does a terrific job trying to keep these forums online and working, especially after this past week with the outage. With that said, am getting the following error message whenever I try to go to the home page on my boards. My users are as well.

Incorrect key file for table './freesmfhosting/_global_log_online.MYI'; try to repair it
File: C:\sites\freesmfhosting\Sources\Subs.php
Line: 2624

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
