Hi guys, especially all the "oldens" out there. I have decided to go back to SMF For Free. Anyway, enough about that waffle, let's get down to my problem.

It's very simple, I'm using a url ending with smfforfree.com and I've forgot how to change board Permissions. Eg: I want someone to see the board, yes I know how to do that, but I want them to not be able to create topics and write posts in it. Is that still possible? I hope so, just me going rusty. Please reply back A.S.A.P.

OK, I know I shouldn't really write here, but I'm going to TRY and be as helpful as possible, and TRY and answer unanswered questions.

As I might of said the last time, I'm still a bit rusty, so I've got my Server 4 forum etc xD

Now, as you have seen, I havent been helping alot, this is because I'm now an administrator on a proper SMF Forum, so I still will be popping in, just won't be active.

Step 1: Get to Custom Profile Fields. (Admin CP -> Features and Options -> Custom Profile Fields.

Step 2: Make a new custom field (if you want there to be more than 1 rewards at a time for a person put it as text area. Only let admins edit, and make sure it can be shown in profile and under posts.

Step 3: To Edit: Enter a profile -> Forum Profile Information -> Look at whatever you have called the reward field and write the rewards.

Step 4: You're done!

It says about permissions for sending out forum newsletters. How do you do that? Or is it the Announcments?
