« on: October 27, 2008, 08:10:30 pm »
Its nothing that will majorly affect anything i dont think... But when ever u delete an account u get the message:
Quote
Table '_collapsed_categories' doesn't exist

Line: 270
I think it has to do with when u took out the collapse/expand stuff... I think? lol.

SMF For Free Codes and Support / Daily Messages
« on: August 25, 2008, 06:00:23 pm »
This script just basically displays a messages of your choice according to the date.

Code: [Select]
<script type="text/javascript">
var d = new Date();
theDay=d.getDay();
switch (theDay)
{
case 0:
   document.write("SUNDAY MESSAGE");
   break;
case 1:
   document.write("MONDAY MESSAGE");
   break;
case 2:
   document.write("TUESDAY MESSAGE");
   break;
case 3:
  documents.write("WENDSDAY MESSAGE");
  break;
case 4:
  document.write("THURSDAY MESSAGE");
  break;
case 5:
  document.write("FRIDAY MESSAGE");
  break;
case 6:
  document.write("SATURDAY MESSAGE");
}
</script>

Replace MONDAY MESSAGE with the message you want to be shown on monday, replace TUESDAY MESSAGE with the message you want to be shown on tuesday, and so on.

Example

Code: [Select]
<script type="text/javascript">
var d = new Date();
theDay=d.getDay();
switch (theDay)
{
case 0:
   document.write("Its a brand new week, Its Sunday!");
   break;
case 1:
   document.write("Boring ol' monday");
   break;
case 2:
   document.write("Another boring tuesday....");
   break;
case 3:
  documents.write("Tomorrow is wendsday! and after that its thursday, then friday!");
  break;
case 4:
  document.write("Tomorrow is friday!!!");
  break;
case 5:
  document.write("Its friday!");
  break;
case 6:
  document.write("Finally! a day to relax!");
}
</script>

I remembered something like this on W3Schools JS Tutorial, so i decided to make this, Credits to them for the main idea.

I've tested it in over 50's 50 differents versions and types of browsers, and it worked fine in them...  So you should have no problem.

If you put it in the headers, it will be displayed at the bottom, like this.

If you put it in the footers, it will be displayed at the bottom, like this.

If you put it in both the headers and footers, it will be displayed at both the bottom and top, like this.

If you have any questions, do ask.
