Gaming / My new -finnally finished- gaming computer.
« on: June 19, 2008, 03:42:17 am »
Over the last 6 months i've been getting parts for a gaming computer for myself. It's been a long wait considering how much i've been wanting to play games like crysis and assasins creed, but it's finnally finished

Here is the specs.

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.4ghz
Graphics: 8800GTS Inno3d 300mb (but still awsome)
RAM: 2gb Corsair
Motherboard: MSI P35 Neo
Harddrive: WD 500gb

I love it. Runs most newish games with an average of about 100 fps and games like Crysis 50fps

just thought i'de share. Rate if you want.

General Chat / Team Up?
« on: June 19, 2008, 03:32:36 am »
Hey all. I havn't really been on much lately and since my old forum has pretty much run dry.

So i had an idea. If anyone would like to team up to make a decent forum then that would be great. My most favoured subjects are.

Games
General talk
Other
Computer/Console hardware

Sorry for the limited list but thats all i can think of. I'de rather team up with someone i know, well atleast sort of.

Stylesheet Requests and Support / How to install a stylesheet!
« on: April 25, 2008, 10:43:18 pm »
Hey, i've noticed an ever increasing amount of people asking things like

"how do i install this stylesheet" etc.

so i thought i'de make this thread to stop those questions.
This may look very long and complicated but it most definitly isn't i've broken it down into simple steps rather than 3 or 4 very long steps

Step 1: go into Admin control panel.

Step 2: click on manage styles, it's down the side bar.

Step 3: there should be a small bar that has Create stye click that

Step 4: Up the top you specify the name of the stylesheet, try to give it a name that relates to the style so you know which one it is. now just scroll right to the bottom and click create style.

Step 5: go back to Manage styles the on that small bar click Modify style. There should be a scroll down box, click the arrow then choose the style that you just created.

Step 6: It should come up with the same screen that it did when you named it except it now has Css editing down the bottom. Erase all the css and replace it with the Css of the stylesheet.

Step 7: now just go Manage styles and were the drop down box for Pick forums style is you click that and go the style you've just made and click Pick forums style.

There you go

Note: if the style has a background and it doesn't show or many thing don't show how there supposed to, refreshyour browser.

hope it helps:

Suggestions / Languages Question?
« on: April 03, 2008, 02:07:32 am »
Hey. i though it would be cool to have the option to have a multi ligual forum. all the words that are on the forums can be changed to different laguages by a button or a profile option, and the owner could do translations for the words in news etc.

I know it's a pretty rough idea. For those of you whom would say it would be against the TOS well aslong as the original concept of the forum was english technically it wouldn't
