Just something quick,

I wouldn't recommend using it, but I thought since I'm learning Graphics, I would try and post the results here.

Just go to http://GeneralThings.smfforfree3.com or the name server you were on,

smfforfree.com
smfforfree2.com
smfforfree3.com
smfforfree4.com

Also a side note it is highly recommended you do not use URL forwarding Domains such as .tk .co.nr or .co.cc as it has caused log in problems with forums on numerous occasions.

Try this, it's a Password Protection Code, just set it up to where no-one unless they have the password can enter the board you wish to hide, or you can set it up to where only certain Member Groups can access the Boards, Admin CP Membergroups Section Guide.

Why couldn't you understand that when I posted it?

SMF For Free Codes and Support / Re: [Code] News Box
« on: January 16, 2010, 12:28:19 pm »
Look for:

Code: [Select]
<marquee direction='up' scrollamount="1"
Change the 1 in the code Above to something higher, the higher the number the faster.

General Support / Re: Forums HTML

Well I'm assuming you mean Custom Tabs, so to do it this way, first Create a New Webpage, using the Webpage editor, Click the HTML Button in the Editor, and Place the Chatbox Code you received from the site you are using, and paste it in, then Create the Webpage, now take the URL the Web Page Editor gave you for the Webpage, and create a Custom Tab with the URL Location of the Webpage.

For other Assistance, here are Guides, on both the Web Page Editor, & Custom Tabs.

Or there is nothing you can do, it will have to stay the same.

The question you asked in your very first post of this topic isn't possible.

So with that said I offered you an Alternative solution.

You can only do what I posted, the Question you were asking from the start isn't possible with SMF For Free.

Code Requests / Re: Requesting a code

Admin CP > Manage Styles > Customize Images (5th Tab Over From the Right)

Once in there scroll down about halfway, until you find the image of the New Posts/No New Posts Image you wish to change, now take the image you're going to change it to, upload it to Photobucket, and Replace the Image URL from Photobucket with the URL on your forum.

Yes I understand 100% what you want I've been around forums for several years, and I was giving you a suggestion to the closest solution of what you wanted to do, because it isn't possible with SMF For Free.

Make sure when logging in you use your Root Account name, such as if you have changed your display name and are trying to log in with it, that will not work, please reply back with a screen shot of what it says.

You'll need to use a Member Legend, like this one Agent Moose created, here.
