yes i hope so. coincidence it seems.
i am worried on that he did upload avatar though but trust smf and this support team. i know u handle it and we will be ok. just so happy it did no damage or get to inject anything. that is so good about smfforfree b/c forums stay protected and smf stays steps above people like krisbarteo.

thanks. we were in middle of a rebuild so not on forum much since krisbarteo come. so i need talk to staff and see what they have been seeing. right at now the forum is be very quick and no glitches. i'm keeping my fingers crossed it was just a fluke thing resolved. i appreciate you guys.

the forum is not as slow - but avatars and images are messing up, and we are get pages load incorrect such as half page is load on top and nothing on bottom, etc. it is intermittent and not at all times. i have a screen shot i can show you but i don't know how to upload it to the post.
noteworthy is there was some big glitch before the move right at time i see krisbarteo approved and loaded up avatar. the board lost all images and the appearance of forum was off severely. a few refreshes cured the problem. staff found he registered at hundreds of forums in few days time and we deleted his membership. he came back as stilusmagic but didn't log in. we banned stilus magic.
prior to these two come on, he tried getting on as MagicOPromotion and Lolly_Charnock54b. those were both rejected b/c of spammer suspects.
i'm happy to pm you all the info i have of the dates, and any ip addys attached to this hacker. thanks crasy.

krisbarteo is a hacker who uploads an avatar containing a code that injects scripting into the php files - which only smf has access to, not us. our forum has definitely be hit by him. it makes board glitchy, slow, avatars mess up and all kinds of mess.
it's sad but real and has got to my forum. i can't get it cleaned up bc i do not have access to any of php files etc.
sorry i was vague. i thought smf would know what it is and being vague helps reduce panic.

I looked and can access everything visible to guests on your site. try this - clear all you history, cookies, cache, etc from browser. close browser. open new browser and try again.
ok, next thing. i have be with smfforfree for long time. my forum means much to me - much much much. i never have problem that is not fixed by SMF or other support staff here. i know it is scary have forum act up after so much work on it. i have been there. but getting angry b/c no one is on to resolve yet is not help you at all. time zones differ and its hard but ppl have to sleep too, or can mistakes happen.
Last thing, and much important - a quick look at your memberlist is reveal names very similiar to at least 1 or 2 recent known hackers. really one hacker has been use many names. much forums are be hit right now. hacker uploads avatar that injects encrypted codes into php files. its a giant mess to clean up.
sit tight. i'm sure SMF has heard of it. if is a glitch it can be fixed, if it is hacked it can be fixed, and if it is server it can be fixed. take a deep breath and i guarantee they will fix the problem but no can do that before they see the post. *hugs*

Updated to say 3 of us are have same glitches with board.
