Posting this as the announcement topic instructed.  I'll put the forum into maintenance mode for the time being.

Thanks bud I checked them they are correct. But another thing is in the set up it wants you to put the file in and the tab it says to put it in is not there for me. The plug in or what have ya.

Yeah, that should already be taken care of by SMF.  I had the same issue.

Is it something with the go daddy domain?

That's possible, though I can't say for sure.

Okay, doesn't look like your problem is there.  Under the Advanced tab, make sure File Extension is set to .php, and make sure Installation Directory Name is "mobiquo" (without the quotation marks).

If those are correct I'm not sure what the problem is.  It looks like you've got everything set up correctly.

Can you take a screenshot of the Basic tab?  That's where most of the problems stem from.

I'm offering to help you, but I don't know what you already have done.  If you post some screenshots of the Basic area of the Forum Owner page (link should be http://tapatalk.com/forum_owner.php) I'll be able to point you in the right direction.

I've enabled Taptalk on my forum and I had problems with it as well, so I can probably help you fix it.

Can you post screenshots of what your Owner's Area in Taptalk looks like?

We had trouble getting it to work on our forum as well, but eventually we got it working.  Problem is that I've forgotten how, and I don't want to mess with it again for fear of breaking it.  But if I see that you're having the same problems I had, I'll probably be able to help.

EDIT: Specifically the Basic section's information.  I recall that the part where you enter in the forum's URL was incredibly picky.

So the forum's been down for short periods of time intermittently today.  I and other users have had trouble getting on, and I've been getting this recently:

It probably won't be a problem by the time you see this, but figured I'll follow up on it.

Alright, nothing to worry about then.  Thanks for your help.

Haha, wouldn't that be great.

How many would be "a lot", though?  Sometimes I'll see a huge spike in guests viewing the site (which I assume to be webcrawlers indexing the site, or maybe a spam attempt or something), but we rarely get over 50 people on the site at once.

It's cool now.  It's odd though, sometimes a handful of our members will report the site being unreachable while it's fine for others, and this time I had others confirm that it was unreachable for them when it was for me.  Any idea what might be causing that?

Not sure if it's just us or if others are having the same problem.  Standard stuff, connection timing out after a very long attempt.

That resolved the issue.  Thanks, SMF.
