You must update on a fairly regular basis... it becomes a personal thing... dont rely on others to promote your forum.... if you dont update, the servers cannot tell whether or not, its up n running... but they do when the admin has updated it.


I bombard the servers... google,Bing,Yahoo.Jeeves...  just to let them know "Im here"

My forum now is not only TOP LISTED, but has been accepted by many large promotional websites.... within the field of camping.

Since building our forum with smf....
we started out with just a few friends who like to get together at least once a year, we organise a camping site or caravan site to meet at, could be anywhere in the UK..... well that WAS Carry On Camping...

Having another forum joining us, Nationwide Campers UK...  we have doubled our membership and had to rename both the forum AND our website,....
Now organising meets nationwide we are known as
                                    CARRY ON CAMPING Nationwide Campers UK

So, what else.... you are welcome to join us and just carry on camping
