« on: March 11, 2010, 12:29:32 pm »
I am just learning HTML And I would like to know how one makes the background picture so that one can 'type' words over the top of it.?

What is the code for background in 'notepad'?

 Can anyone help? :-\

I'ld use w3schools html tutorial to help you learn HTML:
http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

Backgrounds are normally done via css now - its a much better way to do it
http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp

Ive always written code in Notepad but I'ld suggest using Notepad ++
I changed over to it a long time ago and highly recommend it

Thank you so much simply sibyl

I was hoping for a quick fix. LOL!  But I will definatly check these out when I get home!

Last night I learned some real basic stuff like 'speaking' with the internet. I know how to put up images and words but wanted to try and move the words over the image.

I ordered books last night but am to impatient to wait for them to come in!

So I have been learning a ton of stuff about html and programming, I am now working on making a tic tac toe game, has anyone else ever made one? I know they run together with javascript but I was courious about other peoples attempts?

I plan to use mine at our forum if I can get it to work. Anyone have an example?
