I noticed that setting up a arcade seems to be a slight problem here and many people have questions about it so I figured I would make a guide.

How to Set Up Your Arcade:

Step 1) Turn On the Arcade

a)Log in and go to your Admin Control Panel then click Arcade on the left.
b)Click Arcade Settings
c) Follow the Settings on this Image

Your Arcade is now enabled...but still doesn't have any games or any way for your members to see it! So now

Step 2) Get Some Games!

a) Back to Admin CP->Arcade. Then click on Game Installer
b) Click any game from the long, long list there that sounds interesting.
c) You should now see some text boxes and other forms. You don't have to change any of those but if you know what you're doing then go ahead and fiddle around. For the most part though you can get away with just clicking Submit at the bottom.

Repeat steps b and c for more games.

Okay, now you have a bunch of cool games on a Arcade that works for the most part but your members still might not be able to even see it!

Step 3)  Let Your Members In!!
Okay this is where it gets a little more complicated!

a) Go to AdminCP->Edit Permissions. You should now see a list of all your membergroups.

b) Here's a picture of my membergroups..I may have different membergroups but the concept is the same.
Do what is said in the picture

Now for that area I told you to see below for.
You need to repeat step b a couple times.

First Time set it to Can View Arcade (Main)
Second Time set it to Can Play in Arcade
Fourth Time set it to Can Submit Scores in Arcade
As well as Can Send Challenges and Can View Challenges

This is the quickest way to let all of your members play

It should be done...now you have an Arcade!!!

F.A.Q.

Some of my members still can't see/play/submit scores or challenges in the Arcade!
Ensure that you gave every membergroup permissions to do so. Find out what membergroup these people are in and go to Edit Permissions->The Membergroup-->Allow Permission

I want __Insert Membergroup Here__ to be able to control the Arcade and add games like I can
Give them the permission to "Admin Arcade"

I was playing a game and it said "Cheating Detected!" WHAT DID I DO!!! Will I get in trouble?
Nah, some games just do that. You won't get in trouble (unless you were cheating heh heh lol) or lose anything but that score you were trying to submit. I hope it wasn't too good ;)

I'm still confused!
Post here or PM me.

If anyone wants to add onto my guide them PM me. I'll happily do so, I'm still learning myself!  ;)

Edit: Ahhh, my picture is huge! I'll fix that soon

My friend and I made a few new membergroups on our forum. However the people in these membergroups say there are no games to play in the arcade when there are, I can see them clearly. What do I do to fix this?

Here is the link to the New Guide for the Arcade.   Check the section about the settings page as well as make sure to set permissions for the new groups in Admin > Permissions.

Once you do

Admin CP>Permissions>--If Isaiahs Grandmas' way doesn't work, Make sure ALL the member groups are checked.

This is the "old" Guide for the older version of the Arcade.  The new Arcade has settings on the settings page that can effect whether your members can see the Games or not -  not just the Permissions Settings.    Have to set Permissions Mode on the settings page carefully.
