I NEED A GUIDE!

hey all,
i need a guide on how to make the creator of website a different status thing... e.g i made a new member group called "FOUNDER" and when i click on my name and change to owner it goes back to "ADMINISTRATOR" can someone help me with changing??


Oh yea and... how do i change my forums url...? i accidently made "darkilscape" instead of "darkillscape" plz help

You can not remove yourself from the Administrator Group - it is important that you are in it.  Protection was added to prevent doing that.

You can rename that group.  Go to Admin > Membergroups and Modify the Group -  change the name of it there.

You cannot do this. You can although change your forum title.. It won't affect your URL though.

The forum tittle  be changed by going to Admin then clicking "Forum Setting" on the left side bar. You'll then see a space for "Forum Tittle".

Change the admin name to owner or whatever you want like founder.Then create a admin group which has all the permissions.You can't change your forum url anymore, unless you buy a url then you won't have a smfforfree in the url.Its in domain manager and then you click godaddy.com
