Once you buy ad credits, the words are uncensored. When the ad credits expire/run out, the words become censored again.

The words 'C R A C K' and 'C R A C K I N G' are censored on my forum. Is there anyway that this can be removed please? Aside from the fact that I don't know what is offensive about those words, I run a Doctor Who site, an entire season plot arc of which was centred around cr'a'cks in time and space, so it's a bit of a nightmare for discussions. Would it be ok to have the ban on that word lifted please? I'd be really grateful. Thanks :)

Well here is the thing SMFFORFREE.. you should have done this, you should have added an option to the admin tab to say, " censor mature content" that would be a better way to handle the mature words.. But instead you are throwing away majority of your users of something that shouldn't be a problem... my website was going to handle reviews to games but now i cant because of the censorship. I am speaking on behalf of the SMFFORFREE community that should not be fair... i might just have to find a new forum provider service..... this is ridiculous

Is that a reply for me or the post above yours? You did say a while back that if there was a word we would like removed then we could request it with you and you would look into it case by case. I am not moaning about the rest of the words as we don't have a swearing issue on my forum anyway, just crac'king is inconveniant for us and I don't understand how it is offensive (though I am in the UK and it might mean something different in the US)

I'm slightly confused here...

The advertisers demand that the forums you are putting their adverts on have no mature content on them.

Correct?

The majority of the adverts seem to contain mature content.

Am I getting this right so far?   :o
