When will I be able to customize those images SMF?

Under the style editor for the default theme we can only so far customize the menu buttons

Hence, "Below Does not work yet heh. Coming Soon (Only Menu Works)"

For my forum to really look complete I need to be able to customize those sometime....when will you/someone finally enable that?
It kinda looks ugly and it's hard to complete a forum with those around there.

As well I find in the Default theme I can't choose the size of the news box in the top right corner. Have I not looked hard enough or is that option not there?
