Webpage Editor Help!!!
« on: December 31, 2008, 08:31:01 am »
Forum Url: http://funcentral.smfforfree2.com

Original Request:
Quote
I was just working on some new things for my forum with the "Webpage Editor" and when i put a link from one page to another webpage, it says that page does not exist.

For example, from this url :http://funcentral.smfforfree2.com/pages/funcentral/Testing.php i have a link to another page, and the url becomes: http://funcentral.smfforfree2.com/pages/funcentral/pages/funcentral/Testing2.php when you click that link.

(please note that those links do not exist on my forum, so clicking them won't help...)

how do you make it so the link goes from http://funcentral.smfforfree2.com/pages/funcentral/Testing.php to http://funcentral.smfforfree2.com/pages/funcentral/Testing2.php rather than http://funcentral.smfforfree2.com/pages/funcentral/pages/funcentral/Testing2.php

thanks!

The links created by the editor program - you do not have control over that.
I tend to think they need to be in that pages folder.   So long as it works as it should why does the url matter?   They click the link and go to the page do they not?

no.. that was the problem... when i have a link from one webpage to another webpage, it says that page does not exist. I just posted example links about what happens with the url. (i think that is what is wrong).

so what the problem is is that when i have a link from one webpage to another, it does not work saying "this page does not exist"

how do i fix that?
