Though I haven't given permission to guests to view member list, yet under "whos online" it showed a guest "viewing list of members."  Any idea what might be going on?

only thing i can think of is re-look at your permissions. Admin>Permissions>Guest. Make sure the view memberlist is unchecked

I tried to view it as guest I can't. It may still log the entry in who's online but guests can view it.

View memberlist & who's online are unchecked at permissions for guests.   As guest, I too can't see it.  That's why I was a bit puzzled.  Thanks for the feedback.
