TOS question

Firstly, thanks for the free site... it's nice to have.


Regarding the terms of service, if a member posts something that violates the terms of service, will the forum be deleted?  How bad would a site have to be before it gets canned?  I saw that another forum had been removed due to TOS violations & it scared me...  I'm pondering transplanting a rather large group of folks to the SMF For Free site, but am worried about it being deleted.  While the group is generally well behaved, there have been a few instances in the past which would certainly violate the TOS (like cut & pasting news articles w/o getting copyrights.)

Would there be a warning given?  Would the TOS be different if it were an upgraded site (we'd probably do that if we migrated to SMF For Free.

Depends on a case by case basis. I wont' do it for one topic but if the board is all about hacking,warez, adult content, illegal downloads music etc then it will be closed.

If you have a large forum look into the pro plans. I give warnings for those.
