Something Up With Email Notifications?

Just wondering if their is something up with the notifications on PM's cause i have had 3 PM's to me on my board and not got notified once

Try changing the e-mail address associated to your account. Just change it around and resave it.

Maybe something has been lost in the Database, resetting it could restore the problem.

changed the email account to the profile then sent a test PM to myself under the changed then changed back account and nothing to either (that rules out going to Junk folder or ignoring the email cause i know for a fact that the one i changed it to has never been sent it so it should of been in Junk or the New folder)

i guess this might be a server issue...maybe?

Postive you have it set in your profile to receive them?

right now this is getting weird, it came through on my Yahoo account but not my Hotmail one and i know it can come through cause i have just checked and the email listed is in my safe sender list, this is just getting annoying, maybe its my hotmail playing up again

oh well happened some time ago with my Hotmail, its no biggie its just irritating, i should be getting the emails through about these things oh well it was working fine the other day im sure, its just a bitch i deleted all my last emails from there i'd have got the last one sent to me from it, i guess its just waiting again

i got no problem with the email its just helpful when im on MSN when i get notified on a new email/PM on the board

i just tried changing the board email to another one and PM'ed and still the same so i know its a problem with my Hotmail and the boardi guess just gotta wait till Hotmail stops being a bitch lol

EDIT:

just tried another forum im on and it seems to just be between UWE and my Hotmail...oh well at least my email aint broke

Hotmail is really bad for labeling e-mails for spam when they are not. If you do find an e-mail from us in your inbox, immediately mark it is "Not Junk".

I have the same problem with the e-mail server at my work. Everyone on G-Mail and Yahoo get the e-mails fine, but Hotmail marks all of our newsletters as spam and trashes them.

Check your junk filter settings. Lower them.

thats the thing its not even going through as junk i get nothing plus i know the email the board uses is in my safe list so it goes straight into my inbox

Hotmail is the worst sometimes they will say they accept a message but then it never arrives inside the inbox nor the junk folder.

For my work I do very large email campaigns for companies and hotmail just plain sucks heh.
