Something strange happening

There's an issue that, while not really causing a problem to my knowledge, is at the very least confusing.

So, new guests register, and it tells me that there are members awaiting approval, and I go in and approve them as users.
It says something about a database error, and then, when I go out, it shows that there are still members awaiting approval, but when I go in to check, there aren't any, and the new users are not listed as the newest member.
This happened once yesterday as well, and it didn't stop showing a member awaiting approval until that user logged in.
