No intentions of locking this topic anyways, if we lock it it won't make the problem go away ;)

For now I can try to offer a couple ways to help out and put a smaller load on your forums.
-You could split up extremely large(over 1000 replies) into smaller topics.
-Try to use smaller images on your forums to keep them from being slowed down by those. At least try to keep your banner below 40kb and maybe impose some avatar size limits


Mines a test site, with no uploads/atachments, no avatars, an only 1 test topic and I am currently getting the dreaded WSOD..lol.

Well, we all share the same server. So if the server gets too busy with a feature or forums that maybe you don't use or are linked to, you'll be affected anyways.

It's one of the downsides of using free hosting where several thousand forums are hosted on the same server. But it is free afterall!  ;)
