Should i change the seconds before an unused session timeout?

its the time in seconds before a session is declared to have "timed out"
so i wud say that u shud stick to the default

Its 2880 ,should i change it? Also what does it mean
3600 is best and default usuaully but if you have a high importance site, a lower number is better, its the seconds before someone will need to come back to the site before it deletes there temporary data.

in what way and why is 3600 specifically the best ???
its gotta be in respect to the internet connection speed right ?
