Yes, it is only effecting the forums on server 4.    The forums are located on different servers.  The others are doing fine.

Long ago the forums on 1, 2 and maybe 3 (cant remember that for sure) used to get PHP errors.   

When SMF purchased the server for "server 4 forums" he decided to try a different setup in order to do away with those pesky errors.     It didnt work well.   Instead of the PHP errors we got the Fast Cgi error in its place and those Fast Cgi errors, as you all know, lasted for several hours almost daily.   

He changed the setup back to the old setup (same as the other servers) to be rid of the fast cgi errors.
Because of this the PHP errors came back.    They are normally  (although a pain) extremely brief.
It is a hunt and seek out and destroy process for him now to get rid of any errors that server should have.

He managed to cure them all on the others...    Ive got faith he'll do so with server 4.
Unfortunately there is no way to know how long that would take.

There are also times an error could be totally unrelated to something he is doing, has done, and something that is out of his
hands and control.

i truly understand all this... its just that... i need to have some dependability for what i am doing. and i know and realize the process this takes, and i am generally very patient... but idk how to help this situation. if there was anything we could do to help, we would certainly want to. we need the dependability just as much as you all need it going smoothly. perhaps there isnt an answer that will resolve this one, and perhaps my words are in vain, but i really needed to express them. ty for listening.
