Yours was white screen and also very very slow today at the same time all the other smfforfree.com forums were.
I tested yours, and several other upgraded forums to see if the upgraded ones were also doing what the non upgraded forums were doing.   Same thing.

Sassy, same here. I never seem to pick up the server problems until they are most severe. Could be our connections, are your high speed? Not sure why...but it seems I just never notice until it's at it's worst. Probably some little factor that differentiates our connections to others.
Did my answer help you? Want to help out hosting costs?

Very strange, I am on there now and have no issues.  I wonder if it only happens to "guests"  Anyway, I am sure all will be back to normal shortly :)

I am as well..  Im on cable here and its very very fast everywhere.   All smfforfree2 forums were fine.. very fast.    All smfforfree forums were white screen or barely loading.  It musta been during a time you were not around?

Its fine now.. the problem cleared up around an hour or so ago  (something like that.. lost track of time)

edit :  make that two hours ago is when it cleared up.. I just went back and checked my post where I mentioned it was working again

I have high speed, cable modem...and at work...its high speed as well.  This did happen to me yesterday and today at both places.

I agree tho...this should be a thread about when our forums are having problems...and maybe a discussion thread should be created for our venting.  :smitten:

hi Kimmie..  this should confuse you  (I know many are by now)   lol

I "think" you are on server 1.
You forum was originially on server1 and you upgraded to Smf version 1.1.2
That did not put you on server 2.   It just upgraded your forum software on the server you were on:   1

Server 2 was the new server that was added and all the new forums that are signed up for are on there.

I think the confusion lies in that a new server was added , and then the forum
upgrades started to happen and we all started calling them "server 2" when it really should be the software version you are using.

(that is why we always ask for the url.. that way we can go there, and see which version it is, and know how to help- maybe)

NOTE to SMF:   if I am not clear on this PLEASE let me know

LOL ok well then I guess I am in the right thread after all..haha.

Just got this:

Connection Problems

Seems as though I am seeing a pattern here. I get this every night around this time. SMF are you rebooting your servers at the same time everynight or do you do backups at this time every night?
