You could place them in the forum descriptions, webpage editor,header/footer,and maybe the News Fader. Do you have a sample of the code you want to use? Maybe we can help more if we knew what it is you want to add.

Poppy -   move=up, move=down, move=wave, etc won't work if those are the ones you were thinking of.

The marquee=up, etc ones that InvisionFree can use won't work either.

Here is a list of the supported BBCodes for the software:

Sibyl I was using codes that I google...they work okay on my forum if I put them in post but as the are HTML and need a bit or work on them my members cant use them...I can use them fine and the members love them...just wondering if SMF would consider including these other ones at a later date....Please delete if this is not allowed but this is just one of them....I just put the html in [] at each end

<marquee behavior="alternate" direction="up" width="80%"><marquee direction="right">TEXT</marquee></marquee>

Ahh yeah, those you could do using the html tags, and you know only you as admin can use them.
I dunno if he would/could add them or not..  I kinda doubt we would see many more options added to that section.
