Registration problems

Hi everyone, Im new here :) Anyway i have this problem on my forums. Everytime someone registers they get this error message:

"Database Error"-"Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator."

But their activation email goes through to them. But this may put people off and mean they make more accounts because they dont think it has worked. Please can I get some help. Thanks. P.s could it be to do with an error with the template files?

This is usually is coming from the "Welcome Topic" configuration. If you have that turned on, thats why. Your options are, to turn it off, or to leave it on and just explain it to whomever asks about it.


To turn it off: Admin CP > Welcome Configuration > Delete all the welcome topics you have set up.
