 Is there any issue with AOL in the registration procedure?  As in my last forum using SMF, AOL treated the reg email as spam and users couldn't register.  They had to open a free account with another email client, just to register.

No idea. Shouldn't happen though. If it does just check your junk folder.

AOL doesnt like php generated emails.

You could use your ISP's SMTP information to send the mail instead

Admin -> Edit Features and Options -> Mail type

:)

Its an AOL problem though, I remember this distinctly.
