Hi all  :)   can anyone please guide me as to how deleted posts can automatically be directed to the recycle bin board.

Admin>CP>Forum>Boards>Settings

Check "Enable recycling of deleted topics" and then select the appropriate board. Save. :)

Thanks Alex, and if a board has child-boards, is it necessary to select each child board or only select the main board?

I followed the above steps, but the deleted posts aren't going into the recycle bin.  have i missed out something?

Hmm. I followed the directions on my testing forum. I can't see why this wouldn't work for you. To clarify, can you make sure that you have checked the enable box, and then from the drop down box selected the board that you want to be the recycling bin?

Also, posts that were deleted before you implemented this will not be found in the recycling bin.
