Bug? 2 messages before that were at forum, but no notification via email  :uglystupid2:

Here or on your forum?   
If it normally works fine and is working fine again... could have been a momentary email glitch, either with the forum's mail system OR your email account/program.    (stuff happens sometimes)
   
That or double check your Profile settings > Personal message options and see how you have this set:
Notify by email every time you receive a personal message:
